Our entryway recently went through a major overhaul, so it was time for a new console table! I put together this simple and affordable console table look and I love the modern, clean lines it brings to our home.
Before buying any furniture, I designed a mood board to get an idea of what I wanted my in my entryway. I love beginning a design project by measuring my space, so I know what size furniture to buy, and creating an accompanying mood board with my selected furniture.

Here’s the mood board I designed for my space:

I’ve had my eye on this console table for awhile because it is the exact size I needed and also incredibly affordable. It looks high end too, so it was a pretty easy decision.
I looked through several mirror options and had my eye on many different ones. I was actually planning to get a different one until I saw this arched mirror go on sale. I love that it is frameless. Upon delivery, I realized just how high quality and gorgeous this mirror actually is. I am so impressed with this mirror and I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it!
Here’s a look below at our current entryway. It’s hard to believe our console table area was once a coat closet. I’m so happy we opened up the space and made an actually entryway area. We have a few more updates to make to this space, but I’m so happy with the progress so far.
I have the maxon rug in 3×5 by our front door.
Under the console table, I decided to get two boucle ottomans. I love how they add texture to the space, and they’re just the right size for under this console table.
I added this beautiful patterned throw as well. I think it really brings all the colors together and adds a little something fun.
Lastly, I decorated the console table with some items I already own. I used my tall vase that I painted black and a few neutral stems. I also added some candlestick holders that I painted gold with a few brown taper candles. One day I may swap these decor items out with the ones I selected on my mood board, but that day is not today.
