It is starting to look a lot like spring around here with the recent addition of my farmhouse style spring mantel decor!
Happy Spring, friends! It’s just now starting to feel a little like Spring over here in Maryland, with sweater-wearing mornings that warm up into t-shirt-wearing afternoons. With a little bit of warmer temperatures, I felt like it was time to start transitioning my home from wintery-spring decor to full-on spring decor, and I started my decor switches in my living room, specifically on my mantel.
HERE’S MY FARMHOUSE STYLE SPRING MANTEL DECOR:
Yes, I’m completely aware that my poor coffee table needs some rehab. This thing is beaten up so much because my toddler uses it for picture-drawing and play-dough-making and pretty much all the things. If you didn’t notice how rough it looked, pretend I didn’t mention anything.
I kept it fairly simple this year with my farmhouse style spring mantel decor by using items I already owned. I’ve started investing in more statement pieces that are a bit more expensive instead of small tchotchke type decor.
The wreath and garland, for example, were a bit more money than I usually like to pay but I thought they would be perfect as staple pieces for spring and summer and well worth the cost.
Almost every decor piece below is from TJ Maxx except the “Together” sign which is from Michaels.
I added back my trusty, tall candlesticks to the hearth, which never disappoint. I moved them a few months ago to sit on my buffet in my dining room, but I was ready to move them back to their home for Spring. PS. As soon as I wrote “back to their home” it reminded me of how Adam Sandler says “Go back to your home, ball!” in Happy Gilmore. Go back to your home, candlesticks!! Yayy or nayyy on that joke?! It was funnier in my head.
These bright spring florals are probably my favorite farmhouse style Spring mantel decor because they add such a refreshing tone of green that signifies that warmer months are coming. I’m always a sucker for real flowers and greenery, but these faux decor pieces are really doing the trick this season!
If you love this year’s mantel, make sure to check out my mantel last year! It looked completely different with tons of pink hues. See below:
I hope y’all have an awesome start to your Spring and enjoyed my farmhouse style spring mantel decor. Happy Spring, y’all!
