I hope you’re getting in the holiday spirit! We definitely are at my house. I have a couple more rooms to decorate but I’m completely done my dining room, so I had to share it with you ASAP.

Before we kick off, did you see my recent Christmas feature in The Cottage Journal? It was an absolute dream come true, and I’m still tickled pink about it. I want to thank you for being here and reading my content. It’s because of YOU that I’m able to do what I love and have amazing opportunities, like the magazine feature. So THANK YOU big time for being here!

OK, let’s get into my Christmas table decorations. My traditional color scheme this year is WAY different than my neutral scheme last Christmas. I gotta’ tell ya, red was just the way to go this year! I was craving lots of color around my home, and all the pops of red sure do, do the trick!

I started my Christmas table decorations with these cute little evergreen trees. I added a couple brown candles in between the trees because candles ALWAYS make a tablescape better, especially when they’re lit.

I didn’t have a table runner, so I just used some red berry stems with ice and mixed in some pearl white berry stems with those to create one. It was SO EASY! Don’t be afraid to use something atypical for your table runner.

I kept my place settings pretty typical, using white plates I’d thrifted, my vintage silverware set my mom gave me, my detailed white chargers from Home Goods that I ALWAYS get questions about, and my jute braid chargers. These are my everyday place settings, and I typically don’t switch them up season to season because they go with pretty much every tablescape I want to make, including these Christmas table decorations.

The only thing I did to cozy up my hutch was add a pretty wreath. It’s unfortunately no longer available, but this one is a close match.

I kept the same ideas as last year and added skinny flocked Christmas trees on either end of my hutch. One of my trees was way shorter than the other last year, so I grabbed this new 7′ flocked tree for a STEAL for the left side of the hutch. It was so easy to put together!

You may notice a red bow theme going on – that was intentional! I actually made a TON of red bows a couple years ago to go on our windows outside. I decided to use them in my dining room this year instead. I added them to the backs of my chairs for an elegant look.

The bow theme even carried through to my 9′ flocked Christmas garland on my stairs. Last year, I created my Christmas Garland using real pine branches from my back yard, which was a look I absolutely loved. I just wanted to keep it simple this year with pre-made Christmas goodies.

My ‘Stay Awhile’ sign is still up near my front door, and I have no plans on moving it anytime soon. It’s the perfect year-round picture and it was so budget-friendly to make using this print.

I added this cute Merry, peaceful, joyful, blessed sign to my dining room for the first time, and I love it! I found a similar option here.

I tied in my buffet decor with my Christmas table decorations by using lots of red and flocked evergreens. I added some birch candles, and kept my tall candlesticks (similar). I also hung a wreath on my favorite French country mirror.

I’m loving all the festive feels in here, and I’m so glad I went with red this year.
