This year I have been incredibly attracted to all things copper. I got my first copper mugs this month, and they are so incredibly beautiful to look at that I’ll probably leave them up all year round. I actually don’t use them as drinking mugs, rather I set them around my home as decor props. I guess it’s the decor lover coming out in me! Here they are sitting on my decorative tray:
It took me so long to buy a copper item even though I always wanted to get some copper items in my home. I never did before because I thought that if I bought one copper item, then I’d have to buy a ton more for it to look “right” in my home.
I’m happy to report that that is not the case at all. After purchasing these mugs, I set them up as part of my Christmas decor and I never looked back.
Now that I have them, I do want a ton more things copper. It’s not because the mugs need matching companions, rather I’m so obsessed with how these mugs look already that I want ALL THE COPPER THINGS.
