Guest Bedroom Holiday Decor

Welcome to my guest bedroom! I’m so excited to have this space decorated for the holidays. I kept this room pretty neutral and used mostly brown tones for the season, which I think makes it feel cozy and warm.

The most important part of a guest bedroom is, of course, the bed. I layered blankets with various textures to create a collected look and comfy feel. The coziest blanket of them all is our new faux fur throw blanket. I highly recommend this throw for not only the end of the bed, but also on a sofa or even as a gift!

The waffle weave cotton bed blanket is also new and I used it to wrap the whole bed. I love the soft texture and how it looks against the other bedding. You may notice each bedding layer is a bit of a different texture – that’s what makes it feel so cozy and collected.

I actually can’t get over what a great match the faux fur throw is to my velvet throw pillows. I feel like they were made to go in the same room!

On the nightstand, I added this gorgeous ceramic table vase and filled it with some pine stems I had on hand. This makes the room feel so festive for the holidays and brings in some needed greenery. Adding a statement piece is always a good idea!

On the hooks, I added some some cute bells and a pinecone wreath I had on hand. I love how it gives the room a little something extra for the season.

I kept it simple on the dresser and added some pleated taper candles. I like to keep it simple on the dresser for guests because it usually becomes a drop zone!

Everything else in the room is a staple item. It only took a few decor pieces and some cozy bedding layers to make this room feel extra special for the holidays.

I plan to keep this room decorated like this all through winter – and when spring comes, I’ll swap out just a few items to make it feel light and bright. I love keeping a neutral base for rooms in my home so it’s easy to swap out decor and color tones for each season!

I hope you got some ideas for your guest bedroom – or even your own room for the holiday season.
