Hello beautiful friends. This fun spring tablescape is giving me all the feels this season. Can y’all believe that these pretty blooms came from my backyard? The previous owner had them planted years ago, and now I get to enjoy them each year.
Before I go too far with this post, fair warning: I may have gone a little photo happy. I just had to capture the beauty of these blooms at every single angle. I couldn’t help myself!
This spring tablescape was actually really simple to make, and I’m so darn proud of myself for not spending a penny on this.
I usually don’t have too much pink decor in my home, but I just couldn’t resist the beauty of the all the pink blooms I’ve been seeing outside this year, so I decided to bring the pink in!
I used three large mason jars as vases, and they worked perfectly for the amount of blooms I cut. I love it when that happens! I used handled mason jars for the cups at each place setting, and believe it or not, they’re from my bridal shower years ago that I keep in my stash.
I have a ton of the handled mason jars, and I love using them for parties. They have these cool chalkboard labels that my bridesmaids put on them, which makes them perfect for identifying whose glass is whose at large gatherings.
I also grabbed a few other mason jars that I had, filled them with water, and stuck some candles in them to float. I love floating candles so much, especially for outdoor gatherings. They certainly look beautiful indoors too, like in this tablescape, but there’s something magical about floating candles outside, as the sun starts to go down.
In addition to the floating candles, I added four pink taper candles to the spring tablescape. I just happened to have them in my candle drawer (score!), and I love how they accent the flowers perfectly.
The last pink element in this tablescape is the pink notecards. They are the perfect addition if you want to label seat placements or write a note to your guests. They could also have a sweet saying on them if you’re celebrating a holiday or something special.
The rest of the place settings are super simple. I used our daily silverware, some white clothe napkins, and white plates.
I usually keep my white plates on my white chargers at all times, like in this tablescape, but I got the itch to mix it up. So, I removed the chargers and went back to the basics. I’m really loving the change, at least for now.
I also added this mini black teacup set to the table because I love the way it accents the black chalkboard labels on the mason jar cups. Isn’t it adorable?
Glass elements are also a recurring theme in spring tablescape.
I used glass vases, after running out of mason jars, and added a few more floating candles in them.
I have lots of glass vases, and they create a really sweet mix’n’match look, which makes this setting seem more relaxed.
The table runner is actually made out of real trimmings from the flowers I cut from my backyard. It was like a two-for-one deal! The shelf-life isn’t long on them since they’re out of water, but they are certainly beautiful and make for an easy spur-of-the-moment table runner if you need one quick.
I’m tickled pink with how it all came together. The wreath on the hutch adds that last green element that really makes it feel like spring in my dining room.
I’ll certainly be enjoying this view for awhile!
Thanks for stopping by my dining room today! I hope you enjoyed all the pretty blooms that I’m obsessing over right now!
