Oh my goodness, y’all, I can hardly believe it is Thanksgiving week. Time is passing as quick as ever, and we are definitely in the Christmas spirit over here.
I’ve already decorated our dining table and our mantel for Christmas, so it was time to work on our bedroom area.
I decorated my Christmas bedroom today and added a bunch of cozy touches that are so simple to replicate.
Here are 4 styling tips for a cozy Christmas bedroom:
Tip 1: Hang garland over your bed.
Hanging garland is such an easy way to add Christmas flare to your bedroom. There are so many ways to add garland over your bed, including hanging it directly on your wall using command hooks, hanging it on your headboard or hanging it on something else, like a ladder.
I’d been itching to do something fun with my blanket ladder, so I thought it would be fun to hang it above our bed, to hold our the garland.
For the garland, I wrapped two cheap greenery garlands together and then added snow covered pine stems.
Tip 2: Add layers of cozy blankets.
This is the easiest idea, and yet it makes such an impact. The more cozy blankets the better. I really don’t think you can have too many blankets!
I have this duvet cover and insert, which are both super comfy and soft!
Tip 3: Add evergreen trees on your nightstand
Adding some simple evergreen trees to your nightstand is such a simple but easy touch to really make your bedroom festive for Christmas.
I added a really cheap Christmas tree in the corner of my room. It is actually a pretty short tree, so I stuck a basket under it to make it taller. Then I wrapped it in a tree skirt! It works perfectly to boost up a small tree.
Tip 4: Add some twinkle lights
Lights just make everything better. Add lights to your evergreen trees, garland or along your dresser. It will definitely cozy-up the space.
