Welcome to my dining room; come on in and take a look at my fall table decor. Try any of the below, budget-friendly ideas to give your table a warm and festive look this season!
This fall tablescape was so fun to make, and it was incredibly budget-friendly!
Here are the steps I took to make this fall tablescape, and some ideas you can copy for your own fall table decor:
1. Make Fall Arrangements
The first thing I did was make these easy fall arrangements using dollar store items. Yes, for real! The burgundy and white berry stems are actually part of The Dollar Tree’s Christmas line, but I like to use them during fall.
The faux stems are also great for transitional fall to winter decor!
The pretty plum color makes it feel really warm and festive in here, which is perfect for fall.
To top off the displays, I added some faux leaf branches I had cut off a wreath awhile back. It was super simple!
The decorative vases are the only new items for my fall table decor. I bought for super cheap and they are perfect for a French country look, which y’all know I love.
2. Make A Centerpiece
For the centerpiece display, I wanted to keep the look of the two vase displays but switch it up slightly. I used a tray that I had on hand and added some candles, faux berry stems, and faux pumpkins.
The faux pumpkins are also from the dollar store. I just painted them a soft green tone last year to give them the look I wanted!
Pssstttt….Don’t forget to pin it (below) so you remember about using the dollar store faux items!
3. Add Table Settings
Next up, add some table setting for your fall table decor.
I kept mine pretty simple by using items I already had. I layered jute chargers with festive fall chargers that say happy harvest.
Layering always goes a LONG way, so if you have various types of chargers that are different sizes, layer away my friend!
Then I rolled up some napkins and tied them up with twine. It doesn’t get much easier than that. I stuck a wine cork in some of them to add a little something extra. Small details go a long way.
4. Make a Table Runner
You could easily buy a table runner, but why not make one if you have some burlap ribbon lying around.
I never throw away used ribbon because it can always be repurposed in tablescapes or some other way.
To make this table runner, I simply bunched up and weaved the burlap ribbon between through my floral displays and centerpiece. It was super easy fall table decor to make.
I added some candles and a few wine corks to pull the look together.
5. Tie Bows to the Chairs
Bows are always great accessory, but they’re especially perfect for fall when they’re buffalo check plaid bows.
To ensure that you don’t mess up your chair when trying to attach a bow, tie a piece of ribbon around your chair and then secure that tied ribbon to your bow.
I also hung four burlap bows on my hutch to tie it all in together.
See how I used these bows last year in my transitional fall to winter tablescape, too.
6. Hang some wreaths
If you have windows near your table, add some budget-friendly wreaths, like these grapevine wreaths, for an additional fall element.
They’re so simple but give the room some nice fall texture.
These ideas are so simple and budget-friendly yet, when pulled together, create such an elegant look.
I hope you enjoyed my fall table decor and got some ideas for your table this season.
