Today I am rounding up my favorite area rugs throughout my home. I’ve gone through so many rugs in my house over the years, and now I’m revealing which ones have held up the best, provide the most camouflage for dirt, and overall, look the best.

FAVORITE AREA RUGS IN MY HOME
Loloi II Layla Collection Area Rug, Olive/Charocal
Let’s start with my absolute favorite area rug in my home! I love it so much that I have it in two different places: my kitchen and my living room.
In my kitchen, I have the olive/charcoal in 2′-6” x 7’6”.
In my living room, I have the olive/charcoal in 9’x12′. It’s filled with lots of warm color tones and a beautiful dark border. I actually bought this one first and loved it so much I got a matching one for my kitchen!
This rug is very thin, which makes it easy to vacuum. It hides dirt well and is also absolutely stunning!
Loloi II Layla Collection Taupe/Stone
Made by the same brand as the olive/charcoal rug above, this taupe/stone area rug is also very beautiful but has much cooler hues. I have the taupe/stone rug in my bedroom in the size 7′-6” x 9′-6”.
It has much cooler color tones than the warm-toned olive/charcoal rug. You can see how the design looks close up, below.
It’s very soft on my feet when I roll out of the bed each morning. I love how it adds such a statement to neutral our bedroom!
In my mudroom, I have the Sofia area rug in the size 5′-1” x 8′. I’ve had this rug for a couple years now and it is holding up so well.
We are constantly bringing our dirty shoes on this rug, as it’s right next to our main entry door. It hides the dirt so well! My dogs also love laying on it, but you’d never know because it never looks dirty.
I have the Newalla area rug in my home office in the size 5′-3”x 7′-3”. I’ve also had this rug for a couple years and it has held up great.
This rug is very soft and I love the deep hues and color combination on it!
Well there you have it! Those are my favorite area rugs in my home – probably because they’re all both practical and beautiful.
