I’m so thrilled to share our girl’s blush bedroom makeover, with lots of girl’s bedroom ideas.

I started this project last month after working on our nursery for our baby girl, who is due this fall. It only made sense to also do a makeover for my daughter’s bedroom!

My goal with this room was to make it a room that will last her for years. It all started with the creation of this girls bedroom mood board.
I knew I wanted to make a statement on her wall behind her bed, so I decided to keep it budget friendly and paint an arch above her bed. I used Sherwin Williams accessible beige paint for the arch, which looks perfect with her fabric headboard.

I bought two affordable nightstands for either side of her bed.

I added a frame on each side and added a moon print on one side and a butterfly print on the other side.

I added an 8×10 area rug under the bed, which gives the space a really fun look. I used the Loloi rug in terra-cotta/multi. I love the combination of blush, black, gray and navy tones.

For the window treatment, I decided to go with velvet curtains. I used 52’x96′ curtains with a back tab in the color beige blush.

Since her room has uneven windows (there’s a ton of wall space in one side but not the other), I decided to use three curtain panels on the left side of the wall and one curtain panel on the right side of the wall.

I also chose to not put any panels in the middle of the wall so that I could utilize that space for some fun art work.

I had a huge frame already, so I printed out a botanical flower print to go in it. This print actually comes in a set of five, so I used the other four flower prints above her bookcase on the other side of her room.
I love how her sweet room came together, and more importantly, she loves her new blush bedroom makeover!

Here are some before and afters!
