This mood board for girls bedroom ideas includes budget-friendly ideas to make a girl’s bedroom beautiful!
Before we get into these girls bedroom ideas, let’s catch up on the nursery progress. I’m almost done! It’s hard to believe I’m wrapping up the nursery. I’ve been working on it for the six weeks, and it will be done at the end of next week! I’m just waiting on a few more furniture and decor pieces to be delivered.

Since I’m at a standstill with the nursery, I figured I would start working on my daughter’s bedroom.
Her bedroom is more than overdue for a makeover. She’s outgrowing everything in her room and needs more space for clothing storage.
She’s also in desperate need of updated window treatments to keep the light out. Right now, she has sheer curtains which are not helping keep the sun out at bedtime. We will be switching to blackout curtains!
Here are my girls bedroom ideas!

- Ceiling fan
- Brass Sphere shade wall lamps, set of 2
- Queen headboard (we have a similar one already so I won’t need to buy this!)
- Arched wall of paint (I’ll be using the color accessible beige by Sherwin Williams and painting an arch over my daughter’s bed)
- Terracotta/multi oriental area rug (I will be getting the 8×10 version)
- Night stands, ivory oak
- Wild rose velvet curtains
- Plastic chair
- Round wall mirror
- Lamp
- Dresser, 6 drawer
- Kid’s desk, ivory oak
- Floating shelves, 2pack
I plan to get the exact version of most of these items for my daughter’s bedroom. We already have a similar headboard so fortunately I won’t need to buy that.
I’m also not sure on the exact fan we will get, but I really like the white one from above. I may need to get a bit of a smaller option though. I still need to measure.
Overall though, these girls bedroom ideas are exactly what I’m going envisioning for my daughter. I think she will be able to grow into this room and that it will last her for many years.
Hopefully I’ll be able to complete this girls bedroom makeover before baby comes this fall!
