Well, friends, all my Christmas decor is officially down. I decided to finally take down the last two snow-covered faux trees that were on either side of my hutch.

Once I took those down, my dining room was feeling a little naked so I had to dress ‘er up! I went a little heavy with my DIY winter-themed table runner, and I’m not mad about it!

To create this rustic winter tablescape and runner, I grabbed a bunch of rustic and winter-looking decor including: burlap ribbon, burlap flowers, two faux eucalyptus garlands, snow-covered pine branches, snowy white ornaments, white berry stems, and snowy pinecones I made awhile back.

I just worked them all together to create my DIY table runner, and to finish it off, I stuck three birch candles in the middle. Birch candles are my favorite type of candle for a winter look!

On the other side of the room, I kept the rustic winter theme going on my buffet!

I always like to save a few of the same items that I use in my tablescape for decor on my buffet. It really helps tie it all together! My tray has mostly all the same elements as my rustic winter tablescape does.

On the left side of my buffet, I did use some different winter dining room decor including a mini Christmas tree (similar) and some fun Christmas ornaments I picked up a local barn sale last year.

Then, I added some small swag to the backs of my dining chairs (similar chairs). To create the swag, I used a small piece of eucalyptus, a small piece of an evergreen branch, and a small pinecone. I just stuck them each in the ribbon knot…super easy!

I love how it all came together! I was the perfect way to spend my Sunday morning. I don’t know what it is about decorating, but it’s so good for my soul.

And here’s a shot of the other angle of my home. I still have my DIY Stay Awhile sign up near my front door, and I don’t think it’ll be coming down anytime soon. I just love it there so much. It’s still one of my favorite budget-friendly projects I’ve done.

I hope you had an awesome weekend and have a great week ahead!
