I hope you’re having a great week. I did a little, simple spring bedroom makeover today after picking up a few things from Walmart.

Recently, I’ve been pleasantly surprised at what I’ve been able to find at Walmart while perusing the isles.
I’ve been on the lookout for mirrors to put above our nightstands, and I saw these beautiful, pewter mirrors that I knew would be perfect.
I was really lucky because I snagged the last two, and I’m super happy with how they look on each side our bed. They are pretty lightweight, too, which made them easy to hang.
I also snagged some fresh flowers while I was there. I already had bought some pink Lillies last time, so I bought one more flower bundle to spruce up last week’s blooms.
On the other wall in our room, I removed a layer of curtains. Typically, we have two more, darkening curtains on each window in addition to our sheer curtains. I thought for spring that it would be nice to remove a layer and simplify the look.
For our simple spring bedroom, I moved our accent chair back to between the windows in our bedroom. I had it in our living room for a little while, and while I enjoyed it there, I really love the way it matches our bedroom set so I moved it back to its home.
Above our dresser, we have our jug vases and lamb’s ears, with a photo of Jason and me in the middle. Months ago, we removed having a TV from this spot. I wasn’t quite sure how I would do without having our TV in our bedroom anymore, but it has been an easy adjustment.
In addition to removing our TV, Jason and I also stopped our cable service. The only thing we use now is Netflix, and I don’t mind it one bit. I try not to spend too much time watching TV, so removing the number of TVs and the amount of programming to watch, has really helped to reduce our TV consumption.
Now, we keep this space, for the most part, quiet and relaxing.
I’m still so darn smitten over our new mirror additions. The shape plays nicely off our area rug, which is an unintentional bonus.
With just a few simple changes, I feel like our master bedroom went from a bit plain to an inviting, and simple spring bedroom.
