We finally have towel hooks in our master bathroom, and I couldn’t be more excited!

I am so darn obsessed with these hooks. They could easily be used for entryways, bedroom, bathrooms or really any space you need to hang something.
Once I screwed them to the wall, I redecorated this little space and made it feel more spa-like, because don’t we all need a little spa in our life? I know I do. It’s also looking kinda’ spring-like with the lilacs, which I’m really loving.

Below is how the space looked before I revamped it. I had a picture hanging above the bench at one point, but I moved it into our bedroom several weeks ago. It was looking a little bare in that space after I removed the pictures. I wanted to fill that space with something, and I knew I needed to bring some practicality to our bathroom because we really didn’t have any great space to hang our wet towels.
I thought this space above the bench would be the perfect spot for some towel hooks. I considered using a towel rack, but I really like the look of hooks so I decided to stay true to my heart and go with some hooks. I think I made the right choice for this space.
I love how the color of the hooks play off the dark bench legs. That wasn’t planned. Isn’t it wonderful when things just work out?
I bought these hooks specifically because I liked the style, and the color of them is so close to the bronze hardware throughout my bathroom. The hooks, surprisingly, aren’t labeled as bronze. They are labeled as the color “gray,” but they definitely look bronze to me. Just sayin’.
I added a little decor to the bench, including a beautiful clear tray from Home Goods, some lotions, and some fresh lilacs my mom gave me. (Thanks mom!) I also added some white towels wrapped in twine.
All the decor is so simple, yet so pretty and spa-like.
Between hanging the hooks and prettyin’ up the space, I think I spent a total of twenty minutes working in this space. Not a bad use of twenty minutes for the payoff!
I’m really hoping now that this little space is done, I’ll keep looking nice. We used to use the bench as a catch-all space, draping towels and such on it. It’s my goal to not do that anymore, especially now that I actually have a spot to hang our towels! (It took four years to add towel hooks, but who’s counting?!)
Here’s to keeping clean spaces clean… or at least trying to!
