Our cozy Christmas fireplace mantel is decorated for the upcoming holiday season, and it’s giving me all the warm and festive vibes!

This year I chose to go with a mostly brown and green color scheme, with a few pops of red on the tree. This color scheme follows the moody vibe that I’m going for this year. I’ve already decorated my Christmas bedroom and my Christmas table with this color scheme!
My cozy Christmas mantel fireplace decorations are made up of just a few simple items: cedar garland, gold bells, black ribbon and fairy lights. I used three 6′ strands of garland to create this look on my mantel. I also used three strands of fairy lights for this look and wrapped each light strand around each garland strand.
In the middle of the fireplace mantel, I added three gold bells. They come as a set of three and have the most beautiful textured and rustic look. They are also a great size – perfect for mantel styling. To finish it off, I draped a black satin bow behind them.
I think the last touch that really makes this fireplace mantel feel warm and cozy is the firewood in our log holder. There’s nothing better than a natural element incorporated into a space, especially during the holiday season!
These simple and cozy fireplace mantel decorations are giving me all the festive feels, especially when I sit back on our sofa and enjoy the lights – from both the tree and the garland.
On our sofa is my new cozy throw blanket. This faux fur blanket is so soft and has quickly become a favorite amongst our whole family!
On either side of our fireplace mantel are our built-in bookcases. I kept our bookcase decor the same from the fall season. I may eventually swap out the prints for a more winter feel, but overall I’m happy with the collected, moody look!
Our Christmas tree is actually new this year. We have this gorgeous tree from Wayfair. I added several velvet ball ornaments and a few strands of brown bead garland. Closer to Christmas, we will add our family ornaments to the tree!
Below is probably my favorite view of our Christmas tree! We recently enlarged our doorway into our living room so I get a nice, full view of our tree against our Christmas mantel, and I’m really loving it.
On the TV, I added winter art to make my TV look like wall art! To do this, go to the YouTube app on your TV and type in “vintage TV art.” There are tons of options to choose from to get your desired look. The best part is it’s completely free!
Thanks for joining me on a tour of our living room featuring easy and cozy Christmas mantel decorations. I hope you took away something to inspire you today!
