Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week. This week flew by so fast for me. Not only is today Friday, it’s also the last Friday of the month. I can’t believe it’s almost February… my birthday month!
Today, I decided to do a round up of YOUR favorites that I’ve shared this month.

Going forward, I think this will be a fun new series to round out the month. The last Friday of every month will be reserved for reader favorites from the month.
Before we get started, I figured I would share what we’ve been working on this month and some plans we have for next month.
This month, we’ve done lots of small changes in our living room that have added up to big changes. If you missed any of the updates, here are some posts you can check out:

I’ve also started working on a new project in the living room, and that is to make doors for our bookcase. I like the bookcase how it is right now with the baskets, but I am excited to put some doors on it to make it more of a streamlined look! I’ll be tackling that project in the coming weeks.
Next month I’d also like to work on our larger bookcase that’s in our library/sitting room. More to come on that!

JANUARY READER FAVORITES:
- My recliners in my living room. These always seem to top the list no matter what month it is, and rightfully so. I get so many questions on these. They are very good chairs. They sell out pretty quickly when they’re in stock, so it’s a good idea to get an in-stock alert on the website, if you want them!
- Our new area rug in our living room. I’m so happy this one made the list because it’s one of my absolute favorite items in my home. I love the colors in it and the low pile (easy to clean). I have the 9×12 but it comes in all different sizes.
- These custom curtains in our dining room and now living room! I have the color 1908-2 (ivory white) with the pinch pleat header type. I have the 92” length curtains for our 8′ ceilings and various widths depending on the area. More info in this post.
- My water hyacinth bins. I bought ten of these to organize Hannah’s toys on my living room bookcase. They are super functional and so cute. They also come in a couple sizes. I use them with these bin clip labels.
- Our new ottomans in our living room. I have two in the color brown, and we use them all the time. They are a great Pottery barn dupe. Love these!
- This French country wall mirror on my buffet. This mirror is huge and now comes in two colors. I recommend checking out your local Target if you can’t find it in stock online.
- These glass heritage jars. It’s not much of a surprise these made the list because I think everyone has organizing on the mind right now. I love these, and use them on my kitchen counters for sugar and flour. These come in a couple sizes and are a great price.
