To keep us busy during quarantine life, Hannah and I keep rearranging and decorating spaces in a new way. She loves it and honestly, she’s already pretty good at styling. 🙂
Today we decided to spruce up my spring bedroom and add some pink and mauve touches.
I’m went with a soft and sweet vibe in my bedroom. I’ve been obsessed with mauve lately, so I thought I’d better bring some of those tones into my bedroom.
I moved some of my pillows and new pillow covers to my bedroom, and I’m loving the new look in here. Having a neutral pallet around my home is really paying off because I have the ability to add a pop of color whenever I want and it will automatically go with my color scheme – no matter which color I choose.
I brought up some fuzzy brown pillows, my mauve pillows and this fun tassel throw pillow. The tassel throw pillow is from The Hearth and Hand collection at Target, but it’s unfortunately no longer sold. This one is pretty similar though!
The fuzzy brown pillow covers are so comfy to lay on, and I’m equally obsessed with the velvet mauve pillow covers. I may actually order more of the velvet because I have a few other pillows that need new covers – that’s how much I love them!
Buying pillow covers is a great, budget-friendly way to revamp a space. I have bought so many pillows from Home Goods over the years, most of which are down or down-alternative pillow inserts that are covered with pillow covers.
You can easily take those covers off and use that same insert with another pillow cover. And, just like that, you have a brand new pillow!
The fuzzy lines throw pillow above (sitting on the chair) is actually a regular throw pillow that does not have a pillow cover. The cover is sewed over the insert and you can’t remove it. I do love it though because it has such beautiful, textured design.
The photo above pretty much sums up our quarantine life. It has been filled with lots of tickles, snuggles, laughter, and fun. During such a scary time, nothing makes me happier than loving on my girl. She is my bright light through this crazy time.
We couldn’t help ourselves. We had to get in some selfies while I had makeup on and she had her Minnie Mouse dress on. 😉
Sending so much love to y’all!!
